Ethiopian Off Grid Electrification Program
Design, Supply, Installation, Commissioning, Operation and Maintenance of Photovoltaic Mini - Grid Projects in 25 Rural Towns/Villages. ICB NO:EEU-UEAP/ICB/ADB-MG/01/2019 (International competitive bidding) Loan No: 2100150027844 1. This Invitation for Bids follows the General Procurement Notice (GPN) for this project that appeared in UNDB onlineafdb 112-818/12 of 15 march 2012 and on the African Development Bank Group’s Internet Website. 2. The Government of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has received Financing from the African Development Bank (ADB) in various currencies towards the cost of Design, Supply, Installation, Commissioning and 3 months Operation and Maintenance of Photovoltaic Mini - Grid Projects in 25 different Rural Towns/Villages. It is intended that part of proceed of this loan will be applied to eligible payments under the Contract No. EEU-UEAP/ICB/ADB-MG/01/2019–Procurement of Design, Supply, Installation, Commissioning, Operation and Maintenance of Photovoltaic Mini - Grid Projects in 25 Rural Towns/Villages.” 3. The Ethiopian Electric Utility (EEU) now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for the construction and completion of photovoltaic Mini grid projects in 25 rural towns/villages by construction of Solar Power Generation Plant, Back up diesel generator, battery storage system and carry out operation and maintenance (O&M) services for a period of three (3) months(hereinafter called “the Facilities”). International Competitive Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the Bank’s Rules and Procedures for Procurement of Goods and Works, and, specifically, through“Single Stage” Bidding Procedures. |
